Is Event Horizon Worth Watching

Is event horizon worth watching. Event Horizon 2001 Andromida Strain The Shining The Abyss Alien - even the TV series Red Dwarf Back to Reality Better Than Life gets shoehorned in. He has just gotten word of a distress beacon being sent from the spacecraft Event Horizon in orbit around Neptune. The high-tech pioneering research spacecraft mysteriously vanished without a trace on its maiden voyage seven years ago.

The director of Event Horizon went on to produce Pandorum which is another fantastic sci-fihorror film. Then I watched it years later and still liked it but honestly didnt think it was very good. Set in 2047 it follows a crew of astronauts sent on a rescue mission after a missing spaceship the Event Horizon spontaneously appears in orbit around Neptune.

The mere mention of it as a TV show is worth a good cringe since Event Horizon might be better of with a sequel or a trilogy at best since taking the mystery out of where the ship went to. In fact this film could have a decent second life as a board game. I watched it again just yesterday and I actually really dig it again.

The flick isnt perfect and not entirely original in places but it does excel at what it presents itself as and shouldnt be forgotten or overlooked. 50 out of 5 stars Event Horizon. Paramount Pictures even promoted Event Horizon as The Shining in space with metal orthodontic cheek retractors.

The list just goes on and on. Where were going we wont need eyes to see Uttered in devious delight this iconic line from Sam Neills futuristic mad scientist Dr. A day late on this but I was super sick so it made me fall behind.
