After a small amount of time the water supply in your home should be less constricted. Be careful when unscrewing galvanized piping because the old threaded joints tend to rust through and can break.
Repeat this process with all your faucets. Wipe the outside with a dry cloth and then lay the pipes upright to let the liquid drain from inside the tubing. The next step is to flushing your pipes.
Clean buildup from galvanized water pipes with water softeners but remember water softeners contain salt which corrodes galvanized piping. Let the tubes soak for at least 15 minutes. I use the pipe cleaners to clean out the slot in the button.
