What Can I Use To Clean My Chrome Exhaust Tips

I recently tried Cyclo Brake cleaner andor Brakleen same stuff basically and it worked amazing the rubbertar literally melted off.

What can i use to clean my chrome exhaust tips. I use the fender well or wheel brush instead. Use an auto wash or exhaust cleaner inside and outside of the tips. In the process I scratched lightly but noticeable the chrome trying a variety of cleaners abrasives foil dont remember where I read that one and fine steel wool.

Remember it will only work on. Exhaust cans should be much more straightforward as they dont tend to get shot-blasted with salt. You should find it so effective it will be the final stage of your bike-cleaning program as it will also remove water marks and give the chrome a lustrous shine.

It will also work on other chromed areas of your bike but be careful as some chrome is simply painted over plastic. Wipe down the inside of the tips using a microfiber towel. Use a moderate amount of product with steel wool for proper lubrication.

I assume those are not stock tips. 7 buff off with a MF towel this is what i do to the outside of my chrome tips minus the scotch brite pad and steel wool part. Use OOOO steel to further break down carbon deposit and hard water spots.

Take a look at the dramatic difference between the two sidesand this is even before polishing. This time use vinegar as this will remove the more ingrained dirt that the soap hasnt been able to touch.
